Coors Light “Fresh Climb” is an exhilarating spot directed by Sam Pilling (Pulse Films) with agency Havas London, celebrating the brand’s bold and refreshing energy. Shot under challenging conditions, the production required extensive VFX intervention to replace entire environments, ensuring the final film retained its epic, cinematic scale.

Working as part of The Mill’s VFX team, I contributed as a 3D Generalist, focusing on the construction of fully CG snow environments. This involved modelling and placing trees, sculpting mountains, and creating detailed landscapes that would stand in for live-action locations affected by weather. The forest seen throughout the commercial was built entirely in CG, with the swimmer serving as the only live-action element—seamlessly composited into the digital environment.

The result is a visually striking film that merges live-action performance with entirely fabricated landscapes, capturing Coors’ signature ethos: Keep it Fresh.
